We went to the Bloomfield Hills High School(BHHS) Girls Robotics Competition to support our local FRC team, the Bionic Black Hawks. We talked to girl scouts and parents about FTC and encouraged them to do FIRST robotics. They liked learning about all the fun things we get to do. We demoed Bob too, he tried out this years challenge on his own.

Again this year, we went to the girl scout event(international river crossing) to explain what FIRST Robotics and FTC is all about. Last years robot, Bob, met some new friends and had a blast demonstrating last years challenge.
Three of us went to a local elementary school and showed a Fourth Grade class our robot and explained what FIRST and STEM are. They were absolutely intrigued by our robot. So, their class bought a Makey Makey, which is a simple invention kit, and we are going to go back multiple times and teach them how to program it.
Outreach is when you inform your community about First and encourage them to join robotics. We enjoy talking to other people about robotics and telling them what a great learning experience it is.
In November, we spent three hours showing Girl Scouts and parents talking about our robot, what FIRST and STEM are, and tried to get girls interested in robotics.
Today, we went to our local high school where our team, an FLL, and FRC explained what FISRT is. We also got to show off our robot.
