On November 6th, we attended the Bottomless Bowl. Like last year, we arrived at the bowling alley and started bowling! After the first game, some of us entered the raffle. We bowled two games, but we quickly got tired. It was a lot of fun, and we got free balloons!!

The Bottomless Toy Chest is doing a fundraiser this Friday (11-7-14) for the hospitals. It is bowling, a silent auction, and a 50/50 raffle. We will be participating in this fundraiser to help children with cancer in the hospitals of Detroit.
The Bottomless Toy Chest is an organization that gives kids with cancer undergoing treatment toys. They issue toys to 6 different children's hospitals in Detroit.
We worked here and wrapped hundreds of presents. It was really fun and we got to talk to the founder. The Capuchin Soup Kitchen is a soup kitchen in downtown Detroit. They have been serving people for over 74 years. Not only do they make and serve food, they have gardens in which they make their food, sell clothing for all ages, and provide a business center for jobless people looking for work.
During our volunteer time, we shelved clothes and helped customers look around, bagged apples and carrots for the kitchen, and dined with some of the locals. It was a great experience and we loved helping out. We loaded food on a Gleaners Food Truck for Make A Difference Day.
